Pumpkin Butterscotch Bread Pudding

This recipe came from Nestle's website. I'm not a big bread pudding fan, but this could make me change my mind - actually we all liked it. It uses cinnamon bread - how clever is that? The only cinnamon bread I could find was Pepperidge Farm's cinnamon swirl, so that's what I used. It's a treat by itself but baked with pumpkin and topped with ice cream, oh my. The butterscotch chips add nothing to the recipe and appear to just be an attempt by Nestle to incorporate another one of their products into the dish - I'm going to skip them next time.

  1. What is not to like about bread pudding? Bread (my favorite thing) plus sweetened cream? Um, heaven! This looks good, but not sure it can compete with Roger's white chocolate bread pudding, Maybe we need a bread pudding taste test!
